This pattern is from Naztazia. It is a crocheted V shaped scarf.
Again, being me, I didn't use the yarn that was intended. I've had this beautiful alpaca yarn for years and I've never figured out what to do with. I had intended on making a scarf of some kind with it. So, I saw this lovely pattern and decided that that's what I was going to use.
The scarf turned out very nice and it is nice and warm, being alpaca, even though it has lots of "holes".

I added these cute little pendants, very Florida!
I can see a sweater made out of alpaca being quite warm and cozy and not at all scratchy even though the looks like the yarn may be. I remember testing the yarn in the store by holding it in my hands and walking around for 10 minutes or so to see how hot or scratchy it was. Not at all! I love the feel and I'd gladly use it again...if I ever find it! :}
I've had this yarn so long that I have no idea what brand it is or what the name of the color is. I wanted to add another color with it to make a 2 color scarf, but I haven't had luck finding another yarn that was alpaca.
And now I am off to other projects. There's always something that begging to be crocheted, am I right?
What will you crochet today?
