Some of my favorites!
I thought it would be nice to have a small compilation of some of the free easy beginner patterns from around the internet.
1. From Cream of the Crop Crochet - Crochet with a Country Twist we have a washcloth set, perfect for any beginner and useful!
2. From Always Rooney - a large chucky blanket for the coldest of days. The white one pictured here looks especially nice. Very simple pattern and so great for practice.
3. From Lululoves - Coasters. Who doesn't love or need a coaster? One of those quick, functional projects that you'll use over and over. Such a great way to practice.
4. From Heart Hook Home - Easy Peasy 30 Minute Beanie. If you are brand new to crochet it may take you more than 30 minutes, but this is a great pattern for you to finish in a day and feel like you've really achieved something!
5. From Repeat Crafter Me - A moss stitch crochet blanket. Love the moss stitch...so fast and easy.
6. From Lion Brand Yarn - One Ball Crocheted Scarfie. Lion Brand has tons of free crochet patterns and their Scarfie yarn is designed to make a scarf from just one skein. Very pretty yarn in many colors and this pattern is a great for any beginner.
7. From Yarn and Chai - Summer Boardwalk Baby Blanket. All single crochet! I'll admit that I use to think that all single crochet was too slow and might get boring but I've completed changed my mind about this. It's a very specific look and sometimes the yarn itself looks best in single crochet.
8. From me! - Circus Infinity Granny Square Baby Blanket. Cute baby blanket made of double crochets. I've come to believe that granny square blankets are the bomb! lol I plan on making many more in the future.
9. From Hobbii - Classical Attitude Shawl. Nice yarn! I haven't had the pleasure of working with this yarn, but I love these colors. Maybe you'll use different colors?
10. From Knit Picks - Teal Swirl Crochet Dishcloth. Like I said, granny squares are the new black :} Another great one for beginners.
What will you crochet today?
